He is GREAT!! I have seen him on a couple of occassions and he is very personable and likable. Knows his job. Unlike most dentists, he doesn't take Fridays off to golf . He is there for patients when they need him
I had a tooth extraction, bone graft, and implant done by Dr. Schlossman. He was extremely kind, caring, conscientious, thorough and knowledgeable throughout my entire treatment. He called me twice at home; once following my extraction, and then after the implant. I have never before had a dentist call me to check on me following treatment! Dr Slossman has been my periodontist since 1985. I alternate between his office and a general dentist. I have always received excellent treatment from the doctor and his staff. I would not even consider changing to another periodontist.
Dr Schlossman did an implant for one of my front teeth. He is very thorough, sincere and competent; probably one of the most experienced implant surgeons in the valley. He did a great job at fully explaining the procedure and costs to me. He has a fixed cost for the implant procedure; he did not skip any steps or cut corners, and saw me as many times as needed without any additional cost. I too alternate between my dentist and Dr Schlossman's office. When I have a cleaning, Dr Schlossman comes by to review the file and answer questions every time.
I had gum grafting and bone scraping done by Dr. Shlossman in March '06. He's very thorough and exceptional at explaining procedures to the patient in laymans terms! He even got out pen and paper and drew pics which I found VERY helpful! I'd had a problem tooth/gum for 2 years & 6 different dentists could not detect the cause. I alternate between Dr. Shlossman and another dentist every 4 months for dentistal cleaning, and periodonist work. Dr. Shlossman and his hygenists are professional, caring, efficient, and painless. Dr. Shlossman cares not only about your dental care, but also about your other health problems. I am usually very uncomfortable with dentists, but with Dr. Shlossman and his staff, I am very relaxed and comfortable.
I just went in today to see Dr. Shlossman for a consult regarding my gums since another dentist said that I needed a "deep cleaning" and I wanted an expert second opinion. I didn't have to wait long and first I was sent in to see the x-ray tech for a full set of x-rays which I hadn't had in a long time. Dr. Shlossman has been my periodontist since August 1994. I alternate between him and a regular dentist for dental cleaning every 4 months. In contrast, I have changed regular dentists several times. Dr. Schlossman is easy to talk to and very professional. The cost for a cleaning at his office is very little more than the cost at my regular dentist even though he is a specialist.
