Look at the reviews. It appears he either excels or tanks. Which leads me to believe the good reviews are left by those with profitable insurance and the bad reviews are in the work comp category. Guess which group this review falls into!!! Any doctor that can make a decision within 10 minutes is a doctor who made his decision prior to ever laying eyes upon the actual patient. Ever heard of a mulligan Dr. T? A "do-over". Because I for one would like a second chance.
Dr Treihaft, is one of the finest neurologists in Denver. He came highly recommended by other neurologists and physicians. Because of his considerable experience, he quickly assessed my unique symptoms, through clinical diagnosis and an EMG. For those who are afraid to have an EMG, Dr. Treihaft has a gentle touch and I had hardly any discomfort at all. I would highly recommend Dr. Treihaft and his very friendly staff, Diana and April.
I can't even express the disappointment in this Dr. I've had severe #10 headaches for 2 weeks and had to wait 2.5 months to get in to see him. I had a referral from another Dr. and that wasn't enough. They wanted more information, so I struggled to get whatever was enough information for him. Showed up for my appointment and had to wait 45 min. He gave me 5 min. didn't even look all all the information I brought in and said he was overwhelmed and I was too complicated for him.

Very warm doctor. Easy to talk to, gets right to the point and doesn't waste your time. Speaks so you can understand and directs you in positive ways rather than load you up with drugs and send you on your way. The ladies at the front desk are very helpful and an overall great environment.
I had 2 MRIs and $3,000 worth of blood work. He never phoned me with the results of the tests. After multiple attempts to contact his office days and weeks after he had the results, I finally had the person who answered the phone read my chart and tell me everything was okay. I asked for the test results to be sent to me and found the results were not all okay. Dr. Treihaft never went over results with me and required another office visit with a 6 week wait time to go over. I refused!
45 minute wait time for the initial 10 minute consult. Six week wait for my testing appointment. Due to the initial visit wait time, I scheduled the testing appointment early in the morning figuring he couldn't fall too far behind that early. Another 40 minute wait followed by testing. Could not find a nerve and no advice on treatment. Suggested blood work that I just had done by my family doctor and a follow up in six months. $631 out of pocket. I will pass on future visits.
