I would give the Dr. Taormina and his staff both nursing and clerical a 10. They answered every question I had in a way that I could understand what was going to happen. They were professional in every way.
The process was as good as I could have imagined. The entire staff was nothing but 100% efficient and friendly!
Everyone was very nice: reception, nurses, anesthesiologist & doctor Taormina. I had a couple of questions which the nurse answered well. I was identified at each juncture and asked if I had any questions. The prep was - by far - the worst part of the process.
Horrible bedside manner. Has a god syndrome. Won't listen to patients concerns, seems to be more interested in the medicine trials he has going on with the pharma companies. Went in for colonoscopy, left in ambulance, with a 3 day hospital stay. He never checked on me. Went back with followup in a couple of days. Had a fever and pain. He passed info thru his NP if pain level went to 10 (it was already at a 9) and fever went to 103 (it was a 102) to go ER and stated there was nothing else he could do for me. Have had 3 colonoscopies very professional staff take good care of you
Dr T is amazing. He takes time to explain it all n presents the facts. I started having regular colonoscopies after my mom died of colon cancer . Dr T told me that if I came in every 5 years n had polyps trimmed off if needed, I would not die young like my mom. Totally reassured me.
