My first visit was very good
The wait is worth it once I'm able to see & visit with Dr. Brand.
Dr, Marc Brand and I have a 20 year history and there's no other Physician whom I would trust more than him.
I had to have an extensive bowel resection in late spring, let me tell you... I was absolutely terrified, at first. Dr Brand explained everything he saw, was able to give me a lot of info on the 'why' as he walked me through the CT results frame by frame, that really put my mind at ease. His bedside manner is second to none, he really seems to care about his patients well-being, both physical and mental through the entire surgery and recovery. I would never opt for surgery, but if it's necessary; this is the guy.
Dr. Brand was courteous, professional, and effective. I opted to have the cleft lift surgery (pilonidal disease), which involves removal of diseased tissue and reshaping of surrounding tissue. The wound was closed (not packed), and there was a drain inserted. The procedure was performed under general anesthesia. The cleft lift surgery is a special procedure that reduces the chance of recurrence. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
I'm sort of in between on this Dr. He took one look at me (I have some risk factors for surgery), and you could tell he wanted nothing to do with me. After a discussion, I sensed that either he was concerned about liability or concerned about me. After a 2 minute examination which was very painful (Hemorrhoids) said with my situation he would rather not perform surgery on me and gave me a prescription for a rectal pain relieving creme that was rejected by ins.co $257! 2 days later no alternative

Based on several doctors recommendations, I asked Dr. Brand to perform my surgery. I knew it would be complicated and I was terrified. He patiently explained everything to me, calmed my nerves, and 2 days out of surgery, I am Incredibly grateful to him. He truly is as fantastic a surgeon as all of my doctors had told me. I would absolutely recommend him!
