Dr. Wishingrad is very caring. We have been so very happy with his treatment of my son who has ulcerative colitis. He is compassionate, answers emails immediately, and seems to take a personal interest in my son's wellbeing. His Physician Assistant Amy is also excellent.
Dr. Wishingrad comes into appointments unprepared and is condescending and rude. In addition to his terrible bedside manner, Dr. Wishingrad becomes combative if he's asked too many questions or the questions don't line up with his specific knowledge set. Avoid this doctor at all costs.
Dr. Wishingrad was amazing for me in a very complicated GI situation that went on for over 7 years. He was very professional, attentive, helpful, and instrumental in getting me to the best surgeons, and care possible. Nothing but good things to say about him, his practice, and his office. They were great.
Horrible experience. He has absolutely no follow through. Between him and his inept assistant good luck first making an appointment and then getting feedback on your medical tests. If you actually require further attention you are really out of luck. It's unfortunate because he may well be a good doctor but it really does not matter. I eventually had to just get my medical records forwarded to a real doctor. The worst service I have ever had from any doctor, and I have had quite a few.
Grossly overextended practice, poor follow-through and care.
