Very disappointed with our experience with Dr. Weinstein’s office. My 75-year-old mother was referred here after an MRI revealed a fractured back. She was initially placed in a metal brace by a PA, which was later discovered to be fitted incorrectly, causing her significant pain. She had a follow-up scheduled with Dr. Weinstein, but the appointment was canceled without notice or explanation after she declined to move it earlier. I was the family member coordinating care and communicating with this office for my elderly mother. I asked reasonable questions after an appointment was canceled without notice, simply trying to understand next steps for someone with a fractured back. I was later told that these efforts were considered “threatening,” which was shocking and deeply upsetting. Advocating for an elderly parent should never be characterized that way. The lack of communication and accountability made an already difficult situation far worse.
