The Wells Fargo IMAX Theatre offers screenings of educational films, documentaries, and Hollywood blockbusters with a cutting-edge sound system and an immersive 3D projection system on a 70-foot (21 meters) screen. The Theater, which is inside theMarbles Children’s Museum, also offers middle-school-age children learning labs that complement educational screenings with hands-on learning activities. Snacks and drinks are offered at the theater, although guests can have meals at the museum's restaurant, Pogo.

The screen is huuuggeeee and is perfect for watching 3D movies. Oh also they have beer 😍
RecommendedThis place is wonderful. I think today was the first visit I really appreciated. With an injury to my back it was nice to have the distance between the rows so I could sit comfortably. Then the guard rails so I could move around easily. The movie experience is always perfect. It’s the first place my friends and I go too!
The giants screen, you have to be there for yourself!! Go to one

I Really enjoyed the movie “The Meg”, Just couldn’t believe the restraint does not stay open later for the IMAX late Customers, but Employees and Service was overall great. Also just a quick note to N.C. IMAX, You need to invest in the Leather reclining seats and Full Food Service brought to your seat like Colorado!!
Well done presentation of JW 2, but too crowded.
This was my first time at the marbles IMAX and it was great!! The lines moved very fast and orderly, the staff was friendly. Just an all around good experience
My students had a ball while viewing Flight of the Butterflies!
