higher end collectables if you want to purchase something very special as a collectible, then Chatham antiques is the place. i have shopped there several times and the staff are very knowledgeable and kind. they are not snooty and their prices are fair for what they have. a lot of nautical items and english antiques.
High End Antiques This is not your ordinary Antique dealer. This is the highest of high end dealers. dealing mostly in nautical items, but some other unique pieces as well. Prices are extremely high, I have seen items priced as high as 100,000 - and no I didn't add an extra 0!!! no children aloud.
No longer in business... Maps of Antiquity is no longer in business, but the inventory was bought by a shop in Chatham that is now a map shop. They are on Route 28, heading to Harwich. I was there and the owner is knowledgeable and helpful.
RecommendedMaps of Antiquity has not only a spectacular selection of vintage maps, but extremely helpful people who surpassed any expectation we could have set. We browsed the extensive collection for quite some time and were thrilled to find a beautiful 150 year old map of Boston and surroundings that will occupy a prominent place in our home. It is a map lover's paradise.

My brother requested an old map of Mississippi for Christmas, preferably from around the Civil War. I found Maps of Antiquity online and purchased a beautiful map that I am certain my brother will love. It’s hand colored by the cartographer, obviously old but in great condition. I feel the price was reasonable, considering that paper degrades easily if not properly handled. I strongly recommend Maps of Antiquity for the map lover in your life.

I have always love going to Maps of Antiquity for years whenever I go to the Cape. I always been very impress with the collection the store has. Also, the customer services is awesome because they will always take time to answer question a customer might have. My father loved going and looking around the Maps of Antiquity store. Before he died he purchased a map which I have.
