Never buy a Fernbrook home unless you want headaches and spend 2 years fighting them to fix their problems/mistakes. - 3 water leaks (living room, basement, garage) - Brick was missing in the back corner of the house. Floor joists were exposed to the exterior of the house (one of the causes of the water leaks). Still not properly fixed since Fernbrook messed up so bad. - None of the steel doors were primed so paint was peeling on humid days. - 1/4" gap along the trim of doors and jams. By far the worst builders I’ve ever seen and I work in construction! A flaw or 2 is one thing but the pure neglect and shotty work that Tiffany homes provides is absolutely unacceptable. I don’t even own the home and I’m pissed. I moved in when it was brand new and it’s been nothing but problems. The craftsmanship is absolutely brutal in every way all way down to the building inspector. Never buy a Tiffany home unless you enjoy headaches and half ass work
Build quality must be one of the worst in the industry. You should hire better contractors or a competent inspector to check their work. Lots of short cuts. House is falling apart after 2 years. Just found out today the AC unit installed did not meet safety standards. Very disappointed.
Just moved into our brand new house. Very disappointed with the quality of work and materials. The builder not only uses the cheapest materials but also defected ones. We have many problems: cracks in a basement, roof leaks, gaps between bricks, all walls are crooked, tiles are poorly installed, gaps between hardwood boards, no deck for over 2 months, dirt all around, nails and construction debris lying around on the road, absolutely no concern for safety on the streets, too afraid to let the children play outside.
