Staff pushed me and tried to tackle me which BROKE my arm all cause I was arguing with him. Had to hold my own ice pack as he lied to me, my mom and coworkers to protect himself. There was poop, swastikas on my wall and blood on my floor i told staff they laughed. Staff called me and my friend gay because we were sitting on the same HUGE beanbag. i went to maples treatment centre about 2 years ago, and it was the best decision i’ve ever made! the staff were amazing people who guided, supported, and listened to all of my challenges. they have all left such an impact that will follow me forever. absolutely amazing people who dedicate everything to their patients!

Maples was really great at the start, but really left me feeling alone and upset at the end of discharge. My meeting was really disappointing and the way the staff handled my home visit sucked pretty bad. (no offence julia and matt but that was messed up) When i tried to speak up about how i felt, my comments were ignored and they discharged me instead of giving me a place to stay.

Im very grateful that I had the opportunity to be here in the DALA program and work on myself and I love the staff especially Riz he got me threw a lot of hard moments and I don’t know what I would have done without him’ he was the only staff that I was able to hug and get comfort from and if it weren’t for him I probably wouldn’t be here anymore. But in general the place is amazing and I wouldn’t change the experience for the world.
