This place may be cheap to rent, but don't expect to get your security deposit back. Even after leaving the place in better condition then it was entered. Even after they failed to notify within 30 business days of any deductions from the security deposit per state law, even after the property manager called to assure that it was being returned, twice....Maple Ridge stole our security deposit. Lookup the owners! Stay far away from this place!
I lived here for a year. Ignore the reviews from several years ago as management has changed. I would say most residents feel neutral to good about living here. Pros: - Great bang for your buck. One of the best rent rates in town and the units are pretty spacious and most are renovated. - Good location. Close to grocery stores, a park, bus stops, and it is generally a safe neighborhood. - Management is continually doing work to improve the property. All or most of these apartments say newly renovated and that's incorrect. We moved into that exact listing and we found screws all over the apartment in our carpet, our towel bar in the bathroom was not in any studs and just fell right off, our plug to our bathtub just popped/broke right off when using. We had to get our smoke detectors moved because they were not in the correct spot, our door doesn't close without the deadbolt, buzzer and guest unlock doesn't work.
