Terrible place to live. they manage Francis Skinner building in Duluth, and can't get anything done. Security quit since they never got paid. Maintenance and care takers quit, no replacements. Promises have been made but never met.

The property I live is Manage by Commondbond. In December public housing decreased my portion of the rent, and is June and they haven't updated my ledger and still charging me full price rent. Manteniance sucks, the take forever to fix anything.
I thought that I was odd when I saw all of the former employees posting on the shortcomings of CommonBond Communities but gosh, they were all right on the money. There is a central thought that the management structure is extremely poor and I experienced this personally and I am more than happy to field any questions on this - there is just a huge lack of any sort of property management expereince. Not a good company to work for. I quit because when I asked for much needed help, help to get the property in good standings...I was told no and to just keep at it. Would not recommend working for CommonBond.
place not kept up. Carpet in hallway, Community Room needs remodeling, garage and outside of windows never washed. Rent raised FOR THE UP KEEP OF BUILDING BUT NOTHING DONE.

RecommendedThis place is horrible Lisa is a drunk who favors certain people and there is no respect for people’s boundaries at anytime. I also had my apartment broke into 4 times and they still refused to switch my locks
Management does not stay on top of work that needs to be done around here especially in the winter we get bad plowing and shoveling services and that makes it hard for most because most people are in wheelchairs and We don't have mgmt.come enough to our offices and when they are it's just the assistant who's mainly here to recertify and take rent from us and the apartments are so old and my own personal opinion it's not up to code like it should be and just not maintained in a timely manner our security doors and elevators a... read more
