Wife and I had 3 offers within 1 week of listing our house. All three were for asking price +/- 1k. We got under contract and John came in and told our realtor that "they could have 100 offers over asking, the offers don't set three value, I set the value. He then came in with an appraisal 60k under the offer we accepted (comped houses were much smaller houses/properties, out dated interiors/appliances, and not turn key ready), which subsequently blew up that deal given the contract was for a financed buy. We recently had an appraisal done by John and I had to leave a review once I saw some of the previous comments. John was very knowledgeable and helpful during the appraisal process. He was able to work around our availability (even with a busy schedule himself), which we appreciated. He runs this business entirely on his own so it may take some time to get the appraisal scheduled, but we were willing to wait for a trustworthy, professional opinion. The appraiser took a long time to schedule the appraisal and once he was at my home literally spent 5 minutes. He did not even measure the square footage sharing he would just use the county info. He used comps from homes in old neighborhoods that were neither closely located or similar to mine. I agree with the other comments, he was a waste of money and my time. Don’t hire him. Btw... this is the first time I have wrote a negative review in my life!
Very nonprofessional and biased. Don't waste your time and money with this amateur. FYI always check accreditation!!
