I opted into having group health insurance continued with them after I retired. It took me some years to realize that it really only provided thinks like orthotics and chiropractic services; I wasn't getting much value so I decided to cancel. I bought a life insurance in 1988 for my wife as well. Just last year my premium started going up. I had no choice but to convert my life insurance to basic life insurance.What I appreciate is that they recognize that i was a customer since 1988. They increase my benefit high. I appreciate Manulife recognize their old customers and base their rate accordingly. Bravo to Manulife to keep the life insurance cost low.
Most of guys do not understand basic English, why you hired this type of people. If they do not know what the other hand person asking. They can not transfer to their manager or supervisor even. Not oy one person I have contacted more then 35 employees I week. I have benefits more than 10 year and from last 1 year they making bigger issues.
The worst insurance company ever. Do not go with these guys.
