I have gone to Dr. Porth off and on for different health reasons for about 25 years.......each and every time I have received very thorough professional and caring treatment from him. I will continue to seek him out for my medical needs as circumstances warrant.
I am an M.D. took my sister to him and found him to be rude, abrupt, without good bed side manners and insulting !!! He called my sister a "Turkey" and blamed her for her broken ankle then dismissed her without even examining her. He didn't review her history saying "I don't read records". Would NEVER recommend him to anyone !!!

Dr. Porth is a Great doctor, his staff is very helpful
I can't say enough about Dr. Porth and his office...From Lashondra, & the others at the front desk, to Lori who does the x-rays to Chrissy who is Dr. Porth's assist. to Dr. Porth himself...they are all knowledgeable, courteous, friendly etc. I communicate with Chrissy via email and she always replies within an appropriate time. I love the ease of making an appointment online. Dr. Porth and his staff are like "family" Dr. Porth is a caring man who listens and will spend time with you...
He gave me back my life! My hip was replaced on January 2013 and my knee was replaced on October 2013. Dr. Porth did an amazing job. I was walking without a walker in less than 2 weeks post surgery and have been fine ever since. Dr. Porth is a kind caring man who explained everything and he’s an amazing surgeon. I go every year for X-rays and 6 years later, all is good. Thank you Dr. Porth.
I recently had the very positive experience of being treated by Dr. Porth and the staff of Community Orthopedics. I am new to the area, and was referred to Dr. Porth, what a fortunate thing to have happened!!! I was treated with courtesy, professionalism,caring, and compassion. I've been seeing so many doctors for various issues lately! Yet , my visit to Dr. Porth's office shone far brighter than any. This is one of those rare doctors who look beyond their specialty and will give you an honest and totally well-informed opinion. There's no selling you into what you don't need. If an X-ray will do, expensive MRI won't be needed. And if orthopedic treatment is not what you need, he'll tell you...and steer you in the right direction. Fun talks and firm expert advice!
Totally satisfied with the kindness and professionalism of Dr Porth. His Office staff was outstanding . I would definitely recommend Dr Porth.
