Could not ask for better service and a more caring facility – Man's Best Friend is the most professionally run, caring facility that you could find anywhere around. Their training is done by knowledgeable caring individuals who give their heart and soul to our "best friends". We would never consider letting anyone else handle our dog. In addition the owners are always generous to the community they work and live in. Anytime we have had issues with our dog they were right on the money when it came to advice and training.

Use them exclusively - they love dogs!! – I have been using Man's Best Friend for more than 15 years and have never had anything but excellent service. They have gone out of their way to provide care for any and all of the dogs I have taken to them over the years. I've purchased dogs from them, had dogs trained by them, groomed by them and have boarded my dogs there. At no time have I ever had a problem or been disappointed. They have consistently gone out of their way to be certain my requests and my animals needs were met.... read more

A lot of money for nothing. – We took our little dog there for an "evaluation". The trainer didn't even look at the dog. He then talked us into a training package (I know my fault) of $1,300 and took our dog for two hart breaking weeks. Also be warned that while they have your dog they charge you for all kinds of little extras that you will feel guilty not to buy (a bed, treats, play time) these add up fast. When we got our dog back she barely knew three commands (the trainer got the dog to do them she still won't do them fo... read more

Worst Boarding: Don't take your dog there – I tried MBF for boarding this past weekend, going against my gut feeling. I went to pick up my dog and they brought me the wrong dog. My dog is a brown and white border collie, they brought me a black and white. After they finally found her(15 mins later)and with the help of a photo that I happened to have, she was scared to death. As we looked her over we found that she had been trimmed all over, her belly had been shaved. They require a bath after a 2 day stay, which we were expe... read more

What a waste of money – We also spent a great deal of money for our dog to be trained. What a waste, no guarantees and the staff was rude. Buyer Beware.

Atrocious – I cannot feel bad for the two earlier reviewers (they got off easy) ... I spent $4,300 to have three dogs trained!!! Not only were the dogs not trained - they came home barking incessantly and behaving far more aggressively than prior to their stay. We handed to "Man's Best Friend" three litter mates ... two puppies in one household and the third living in a separate household. When we returned two weeks later they had confused the two females and had attempted to send us home with the WRONG dog!!!! My 7 year old... read more

Waste of money for training – My husband and I spent $2200 for our two dogs on intensive in house training. In the two weeks our chief concerns weren't even addressed. We left our dogs for an additional week, and they still would not obey the commands at home. They use choke collars, and are very physically aggressive with them. There is no guarantee at all, and we feel like we completely wasted our money. I would not recommend!
