It is not a quite place to live. Outside always walk some strange individuals. I did not feel safe at all. I would recommend it only if you have nowhere to go.
I lived at Manor Ridge for a couple years while in college. You definitely get what you pay for. The area is not the best Independence (a.k.a. the meth capital of the world) has to offer. The apartments are kept up for their age, but still very old. Air conditioning units (lol), appliances, and "laundry facility" are pretty much junk. The rates were good and the lady in the office was nice. However, dont EVER take any kind of problem to her supervisor (I believe his name is/was Brian) hes a smug little man who will talk down... read more

I lived at Manor Ridge Apartments for a few years. Everytime that I had a maintenance problem it was taken care of. The management was very friendly and every time that I called and left a message my call was returned. The apartments are small but you get what you pay for. They have good upkeep and the apartments are clean. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing an affordable place to live.
Lived there for one year. Great rates! Poor complex up-keep. Management was extremely poor. other tenants were very loud. I dont recommend this complex to anyone. I gave it only one star because no stars is not an option on here-- it really deserves no stars.
Seems like a well kept complex. Clean apartments. Good location. Nice mgmt. Maybe a little hard to get in but Im sure the people are mostly nice. Im trying to get in and waiting for my yes or no right now. I will write more later.
Great rates, ignoring neighbors isnt that hard. Clean apartments as far as Ive seen. Okay neighborhood
