My grandmother was a resident of the Manor of Ojai for 10+ years. They took great care of her while she was there and Halina quickly became a family friend. My grandmother was not easy to care for, she had outbursts and got angry due to having several strokes but they were still kind and treated her like family. And what an exhausting and heartbreaking job it is to care for the elderly in the end stages of their lives, they are lucky to have Halina and her staff, they truly put so much love and care into the residents.
Halina and her staff are wonderful caring people and take very good care of the residence. I would recommend that everyone takes thier loved ones in need of eldercare to the Manor of Ojai.
Manor of Ojai is a wonderful home with excellent care and compassionate, attentive caregivers. Halina personally trains all of her caregivers with love and maintains a high standard. My mother has enjoyed being there since the first day she arrived. The meals are delicious and the care she has received is excellent. This is truly a home with a family atmosphere. My father was at the Manor for a few months before his passing, and although I live out of state my local family was very pleased with the care he received at the facility. I was able to meet Halina at my father's memorial and she seemed a genuinely caring person.
My first impression of the Manor was that it looks and feels like a home. It is in a beautiful and quiet residential neighborhood with mature trees and landscaping that make for a happy, comfortable, home- like environment. My family member has been at the Manor since 2023 and she is thriving. She loves the food and the parrot and it is clear that she is being well cared for. It is incredibly difficult to moved a loved one into a care facility, and my family feels comfort knowing that she is in Halina's caring hands.
