I miss the corn muffins and apple butter that defined Chetola and the Timberlake restaurant. It was part of a beloved family tradition we enjoyed every summer. The new menu is brief with none of the old favorites which was a big disappointment. However, Kareem saved the day. He took the time to come out of the kitchen to sit with us to tell us about the menu. Our server, Austin, was also a highlight—pleasant, present and helpful. Thank you to Kareem and Austin. Their new modern approach pushes all guests into a loud and small dining space that lacks the warmth and history of the old dining space. They got all our orders wrong, shorted us fries. They brought fries whic came with my husband’s meal for my daughter because they served her fruit instead of the fries we ordered. My food was served stone cold. Terrible experience! Food was cold food pairings not good atmosphere nothing like before they have a lot of work to do! Went for my son’s birthday not again ! A lot of work to do !
Beautiful scenery and courteous service. Restaurant opens on Wednesday but didnt know until we arrived. One out of two ice makers work. Hallways smell like pee. Our balcony smells like pee. No dog park. Spent money on uber eats because restaurant is closed. Have a balcony but no smoking. Paid $2500+ $600 -Pet friendly -charge $50 per pet per night. We booked our stay from 07/12-07/19, but we are checking out tomorrow, 07/15. Welcome to Chetola Resort.
