John patched multiple areas of drywall on our kitchen ceiling and walls from electrical work. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the result and cannot even tell that there was a repair done. He matched the textured ceiling perfectly! John was very professional and reasonably priced compared to other quotes I received. I would definitely recommend using him in the future for any drywall repair or plaster work.
I've had some prior bad experiences with contractors. But, I knew I didn't have the skill set to level and swirl texture a plaster ceiling after some major hole repairs due to fire damage. John was very nice, easy to work with, did a fine job and was more than willing to rework or touchup areas that I wasn't satisfied with. This is actually a "fake" review posted by me, the owner. I've asked multiple customers to review me on this site. They all claim they did. Not one of them has appeared here as a reviewer. So what happened? Is this site broken?
We are in the process of rehabbing a 1936 house. Needless to say with all the work done by plumbers, electricians and having a new heating system installed, there were large holes in the walls and ceilings everywhere, including one place in the first floor ceiling that took up about a third of the large room. Over our 48 years of marriage we have had a lot of contractors and repair men do work for us. John ranks at the top of the list for plaster repair. Efficient, and reasonably priced. We will definitely contact him again if needed.
John did a great job with my ceiling repair. The work was exactly as he explained it would be. He is thorough and clean. I highly recommend him.
John did an amazing job repairing a ceiling that had been opened to the rafters during a kitchen remodel. He replaced drywall and textured to match the existing ceiling. Was extremely impressed with his work - others wanted to tear down the entire ceiling but John was able to make it work with the existing ceiling and matched it perfectly.
