Dr Patel knew my history and current situation. He was very easy to talk with, answered all questions, asked me all the right questions. Only a few minutes wait time.
The visit was good; however, I would have appreciated my initial conversation being with Dr. Patel vs one of his interns. Additionally, since the VA referred me for the visit through its community referral program, I would have liked him and his staff to communicate with VA (since my VA Primary Care Physician referred me - and I asked them to do this) vs having my Atrium doctor call me for a pre-op consult appointment when they DID NOT refer me. I asked them to communicate with the VA, but I ended up doing that myself.
Dr. Patel is very knowledgeable and professional. He reviewed my records before I arrived. He created a plan of treatment and collaborated with another physician to ensure the treatment plan will be effective. Dr. Patel is personable with superb people skills and "bedside manner." Thank you Dr. Patel.
Dr. Patel is a professional provider. My major disappointment is that the operation to remove the kidney stones has been scheduled for April 13. This means that I must contend with a nephrostomy for 3 months.
