In August, I went in for my second surgery with Dr Gharia. It was for a removal of actinic keratosis skin. The surgery was on the left side of my face. It looked like a lighting bolt, 45 or more stitches , it ran all along my cheek, about 4 inches. I was concerned about the possibility of a long scar. My husband just had surgery on skin cancer in two places one being his upper lip. He is so happy with the procedure. Has had similar surgery on his nose at another doctor and it was a very painful procedure. Fearing the same, he was VERY concerned about having this done. He was thrilled with this procedure.
