I have been seen by a few doctors over the years for multiple reoccurring issues. A few have said it is anxiety and told me I'm too young and in good physical shape to have something wrong. I always felt dismissed. Dr. Maniar took the time to listen and read all of my symptoms over many years. He then ordered quite a few different tests and he already found in one visit something my other doctors have not. I feel like I found someone who was willing to take the time to help me figure what is going on with my body.
When he had his practice in Merrillville Indiana on the campus of Methodist Southlake Hospital - he treated me for migraines and non epileptic seizures. During exams, he'd make me feel very uncomfortable to where I asked to nurse to be present after he looked down my shirt and told me that he heard my heart better through my left breast nipple. Very caring and attentive.
A doctor with compassion and knowledge along with a game plan that agrees with the patient. Thank you Doc

Dr Maniar is a great doctor! At my first visit, I wasn’t sure. He was in and out in no time. I did not realize how good of a doctor he really is. He diagnosed me, got me on the correct meds, and if something arises, he orders the correct tests. After he knows that you are there for the right reasons, he really cares and is sweet as can be.
No bedside manners, I was hospitalized for over a month due to epilepsy. His office allowed my mom (who has a severe form of mental issues amongst other things. I had to have her removed from my records ) . to call his office saying I was addicted to drugs. I went to see him, he didn’t touch me or look at me. He sat at his desk and told me to come back to see him once I saw a psychiatrist and walked out and the office still expected me to pay a $45 copay. The seizure literally killed me because I had it in my sleep and cause... read more
