I usually don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my thoughts about this experience—it just feels right. BEWARE OF THE UNHYGIENIC EYE CHECK. I went in with my mother for a cataract evaluation. I over heard ALL patient get the SAME DIAGNOSIS AND SAME TREATMENT AT CHECK OUT. Not only did she not properly exam my mother’s eye, she did not CLEAN THE EQUIPMENT AND JUST PLACED A TISSUE ON THE CHIN. Looks like the tools she used are repeatedly used throughout the same patients and laid flat out on a tissue. she had her do multiple images and called her a GLAUCOMA SUSPECT (which we were never told by all her previous doctors). I’m not a big reviewer but I feel obligated to warn people here. This is the worst doctor I’ve ever seen. In my second appointment, she tilted my head back and put a bandage contact in my eye with no explanation or notice, and then the front desk informed me I HAD to come back in a few days (I was going out of town) to remove that. Dr. Rapoport is consistently thorough, understanding, and extremely competent. Always takes time to answer all my questions, is patient and makes me feel, at ease during any procedures. Her follow up care is top-notch as is her staff. I feel confident that my eyes are in the best hands! Highly recommend!
