Awesome California-Italian Food! This is one of my all time favorite California-Italian restuarants. It's perfect for lunch or dinner with friends and family. First of all the atmosphere is really nice, it has a open and airy feel, which is comforting and elegant, but at the same time feels really casual. Mangia Bene Restaurant We love to go here for a good old fashioned family dinner. You could fill up on the delicious fried zucchini in marinara sauce which is served as an appetizer and the toasted garlic bread slices. The menu is varied Italian cuisine and the sauces are excellent. We always have a nice dogie box to take home and it is so good the next day. Prices are very reasonable.
I cannot say enough good things about this casual family style italian restaurant. The food and service are excellent, and the prices are completely reasonable. You can have a delicious lunch special with pasta, salad and garlic bread for about $12-15and the ambiance is open, airy and beautiful, they even have a heated patio area.
Good Italian My mother loves Mangia Bene and I like it a bit too. The food tastes fresh and is consistent in presentation and taste. This is what I would call upper-casual. Not dress-up per se, but not Denny's either. Worth a trip.
Nice ambiance The food is really good here, but received really bad service when I went about a month ago. I definetly would give this restaurant another chance because of how good the food was. Maybe I'll try it for dinner instead of lunch.
