Listened and her staff is great. I have had to speak with billing and had no issue. She was respectful and helped me.
I have systemic CRPS from multiple spinal surgeries. have been with this practice (Regional Medical Group) for over 15 years -- since before Dr Manfield's time. She replaced Dr Dowling and I am so happy she came along. I still remember the appt I had on a New Years eve a few years ago, where she spent over an hour with me. I find her to be exceptionally caring and compassionate, and a GREAT listener. My only comment is the portal; it's kind of clunky and dated in appearance. Dr. Manfield is very caring and understanding. She takes as much time with you as needed. She listens to your concerns and works with you to proceed with the proper plan of action.
I left Dr. Manfield’s practice because of the horrible billing person. While I waited for the Dr. To come in she came in and actually yelled at me for missing an appointment that I called and canceled 3 days before. She was horrible! There was a girl at the computer in the hallway that came in and apologized for her bad behavior but I didn’t deserve that treatment. They need to fire her as I’m not the only one who this happened to. Dr. Manfield did nothing to address this.
I want to begin by saying I love Dr. Manfield; however, the practice has really stuck it to me. I recently had a parent pass away which I had to take care of my mother with stage 4 lung cancer for a couple of months. I was forced to miss two appointments which I notified the office prior to my departure, but was dismissed from the practice for missing these. I moved to this State five years ago. I have rare disease that is not well known here. For my first 6 months of living here, I had to still travel 3 hours to PA to go to my Doctor, because no one would pick me up as a patient. To many complications. I did end up in another hospice program for about year, but it was my social worker who helped me get Dr Manfield. I appreciate the staff, because they are always busy. I have a chronic/documented medical issue that was rejected (FMLA) 2x within a period of 12years under Dr Laura Manfield and specifically nurse practitioner Carla Miller, this office obviously doesn't have my wellbeing prioritized.
Dr Manfield is a very caring Dr. Her staff are the best. Everyone answers your questions and if they can't they get someone to help.
