Being a new client to the Mane Element (I followed my stylist) was in a word, comforting. I felt that my stylist was so much more at ease and I can tell she is really happy working there. I have always loved the work she has done and the other people who work there are really great. I was greeted immediately and offered several beverage choices, everyone was happy, genuinely and I didnt get the competitive feeling when I walked in. "I have been going to the Mane Element for 6 or 7 years now. It was great to finally find a stylist that did what I wanted and not what he or she wanted -- I highly recommend Tony; he is great with color also. Its also a fun and relaxed atmosphere. "

I have been going to the mane element for over a year now. The stylist are very good and very friendly. The shop owner has really decorated the shop like no other salon I have ever seen. My stylist name is Angela, She is the best! I felt bad going there at first because I was thinning and didnt have much hair to work with and was embarrased. She advised me to start using nioxin hair products and gives me a treatment once a month. Mane Element is an absolute disaster. I recently went in to get a trim and a quick styling and ended up getting a truly awful haircut. The stylist was incompetent and poorly skilled. I believe that hair stylists have two aspects involved in their jobs. 1.) They should have the technical skills needed for a career in beauty 2.) They should listen/understand what the client wants and then give the client a great hair cut working with the clients requests and the stylists knowledge. Neither of those things happened. Interesting medium-small sized salon with a unique flair (kind of post modern egyptian). Tony, the owner, and the rest of the staff are extremely personable and knowledgable. In going for there for well over a year now, I have found the clientel to be extremely loyal and overall satisfied.
