He gets no stars from me. After years of different therapists I found him to be rude, judgemental and not at all professional or productive. He gathered no background information and instead launched into personal scathing attacks that I got up and walked away from. He did say sorry and not charge us because he KNEW he had been unethical. Would not recommend for anyone dealing with an anxious situation.
Malcolm Heckenberg is a fantastic counsellor. A few years ago, I had the good fortune of being his client during an extremely stressful period of my life. There were multiple issues happening at the same time which involved myself and my two, young children. He was instrumental in helping me overcome some pretty intense problems involving an ex-partner, as well. I highly recommend him as a professional and as an empathetic listener who offers the feedback needed to move forward. Thank you, Malcolm.
