Every year we come to this place for my daughters birthday and unfortunately this will be the last. I always share my meal with my youngest since neither of us can eat an entire portion of the Hibachi meal. This time though we were sat with another party of three and our cook did not portion out the food properly. He repeatedly gave larger portions to the other party. Great chef. Very entertaining! Food was good. They split up our party at the tables. Which kind of put a negative atmosphere.
Used to love this sushi and teriyaki place in Tacoma. The sushi and teriyaki were always really good, with quality ingredients and generous portions. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about our recent takeout experience. Everything was extremely over-salted, including the rice and even the plain chicken. We ordered the teriyaki sauce on the side, so it wasn’t the sauce causing it. The food was honestly difficult to eat.
