I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mandip S. Rawla, M.D. He truly listens to his patients and genuinely cares about their well-being. With Dr. Rawla, you never feel rushed, and his thoughtful approach makes you feel confident and supported. After my thyroid stopped functioning due to cancer treatments, I was scheduled for a critical cancer-related surgery. I truly believe of not for Dr Rawlas help I may not be here today, my sugars were totally out of co trol and he helped me get them back on track with an insulin pump and caring
Dr. Rawla took the time to listen to my concerns, my medical history, and previous experiences with other doctors about the issues I was having. He explained things in details, answering many clarifying questions from me, and sympathetic for the problems I had with other doctors and medical staff dismissing, belittling, and minimizing my concerns and symptoms as well as being body shamed and gaslit to believe I was making things up and using "trendy" terms to try to get a diagnosis. I have always found Dr. Rawla to be considerate and concerned, He's also a very likable guy. And his office is quick about calling in prescriptions to my pharmacy.
I had one of the best physician-patient interactions with him that I’ve ever experienced. I had originally asked my pcp for a referral to a female endo, and although the appt date was a ways away, I didn’t question it because it wasn’t urgent. Once realizing he was a male, I wasn’t sure what to expect out of our appt, but he spent almost an hour with me going over all of my concerns, talking to me casually and seemingly being very interested in clearing up some of my confusing medical history.
