Great! What a surprise to find this restaurant, that I've passed by so many times, to be one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever eaten at! I WILL enjoy the food again, and the ambiance. Thank you, Mandile's, for a delicious, romantic evening!
Downhill Started coming here 9 years ago.....has since gone downhill. It has been over a year since we've been back and decided to give it another try. Not good....Caprese salad...mozzerella had gone bad, got comped. My husbands ribeye was way over cooked. Got comped a free dessert....Tiramisu which was excellent. Best Gnocci My favorite thing here is the Gnocci. It truly is out of this world, although we have tried over half the menu, nothing beats the Gnocci Di Casa.. Paired with a nice glass of wine, and a Creme Brulee for dessert it Truly is heaven to the taste buds!
Best Around Great food with tremendous portions. Everything was outstanding from the first to last bite. Service was impeccable, and the drinks were just perfect. We were taken care of to a T, and were even treated to some limmoncello after dinner. The Zuppe di Mare, and Veal Limone are must trys. Get Here!
Had better Italian The food was very bland and not that good at all. The customer service was not the greatest either and very slow.
experience Had a party there and many of our guests experienced cramps and diarrea the following day after the party. The only thing our guests who got sick had in common was the party they attended. When contacting the owners they informed us it was the flu. Interesting I say. This is true........ There are 30 people that got sick. Maybe not the food but something there. At least responsibility should be taken and not harrassing phone calls and threats.
True Italian Cuisine At It's Finest. Came here 2 weeks ago to see Tony O perform, and everything was perfecto. We started with baked clams, and I had Giambotta for dinner, & my wife had Linguini Diavolo (shrimp & scallops) , for dessert we wrapped it up w mango tiramisu. <3 <3 This place is lovely, it has great service, and the food is absolutely phenomenal. If you really want to go into orbit, try their veal saltimbocca. It's very, very tender, smothered in cheese, and has the very distinct flavor of sage. Also quite good is the lasagna. It is LITERALLY the size of a brick and has so much rich, warm cheese stuffed inside. Fantastic.
will be back This restaurant is outstanding. The service, ambiance, and food were great. My pasta special was phenomenal. Apparently, it's a special that they change weekly and mine was better than the week before according to our waiter. They have a lot of specials here. The chicken pesto was pretty good too. We had the fresca and mussel/clam fennel dish as appetizers which were great!
