This place used to have absolutely AMAZING chinese food. it was the only chinese place i ever ordered from. Recently, though, they merged with another restaurant and changed all of their recipes. the new recipes just aren't very good. very mediocre food. very disappointed.
Sorry, try again. – Mandarin House's only merit is perhaps that it isn't AS BAD as other Chinese restaurants in Austin. General Tso's Tofu is the standout by far.
Great Food – Mandarin House is one of my favorite Chinese restaurant. The food is authentic and always good. I suggest order from the Chinese menu (which has English translation) and stay away from the American menu and the buffet.
