Any place that provides therapy should not employ people who try to bully random strangers over social media. The “therapist” Ariel brooks made incredibly rude words towards myself via a Facebook post about DEI programs being eliminated. I will be contacting the state over this issue to have your license revoked
My son has been coming to the Mandala House for a year. I searched for months to find a place that was inclusive and safe. Close friends go here and had only positive things to say. My son has seen two therapists (due to one moving away), and I could not be happier with the thoughtful and effective approaches these counselors have taken. Been needing to get a extremely important document that my therapist sent to the front desk a month and a half ago... That was extremely time sensitive, even with me spam calling the front desk with no answer or call backs and my therapist putting in multiple requests to get the document to me ASAP I still don't have it...
The Mandala House has always felt safe and it’s something I look for in when I’m spending a lot of time somewhere. I also love that who I’m seeing specifically chose to work here to help gay/queer people. It makes me feel seen and allowed me to be more freely open. I won’t go into too much detail, but when I first came here I was an emotional wreck and with help I’m in a better place. I’ll always be appreciative of this place for that. So I’ve been going here for 7 years plus. The atmosphere is great, current office admin staff is helpful, calm, and informative. Which is why I will give two stars. The care you receive from the therapists is inconsistent. I mean this because my therapists over the years have “had their license expire” while waiting on board reapproval, which delayed my care, and I ultimately never heard back about that provider being able to ever do therapy again. in addition to 2 psychiatrists leaving the practice with difficult transition... read more
