I have been definitely A Manda Sausage’s Fan. What happened? Your sausage used to be so delicious (raw or cooked)? I have sent many customers your way. Your sausage now taste awful. There is an unknown flavor and the skin is tough. Sometimes your packages are mis-labeled. I can only have mild because of health reasons. I get home with a mild package label and it’s spicy. Purchased the smoked...full of ground bone. Nuff said.
I purchased this before Labor Day and it had no favor and the casing was tough. I brought some when kids were home 2004 and I thought the favor was better. I wonder if the ingredients changed or my taste buds changed. I wanted to support local product, but I am going back to Down Home brand.

Bought Manda Hog Head Cheese recently. It was the worst hog head cheese I ever tasted. It was not sliced, and I had to really saw a slice off. It had the consistentcy of a rubber ball. It was very hard to chew, and worst of all, it had no flavor. Batch 0906. What happened?
