VCA Westboro didn’t have the meds they prescribed in stock so I ordered it online. VCA refused to approve the prescription unless I would order in their overpriced own online store. Their shipping takes forever and my cat would have run out of his meds if I would have waited. I begged them to please either pick up the phone and call in the prescription or fax it in, they refused. I met a friend here who had brought their dog in after her dog was found unresponsive with what looked to be head trauma. They kept insisting that she needed to put the dog down saying it was inhumane to let the dog suffer. When she finally decided to proceed with the euthanasia they insisted receiving payment up front. This was a lengthy process considering they had to go through care credit etc. $500 in care credit was available and used. My dog was given medication for a Illness she didn’t have. After one week on the medication, she couldn’t see, was running into the walls.I took her back and saw a different vet, her blood was retaken. She did not have the illness that she was diagnosed with. The second blood test was just to retest her. He compared it to the 1st blood test and the 1st said the samething. She did not have Cushing’s disease. It was to late, she started having Seizures and died. charged almost $1000.00. Got turned over to a credit collection. ... read more

These folks were so good to our sweet Zoey bear! Hard, hard day but they were exceptionally professional, compassionate and encouraging! Cannot say enough good things!
Just one day ago I would have given this place 5+ stars. Dr. Shirley Russman is truly the most amazing vet I have ever met. I've fallen on hard times. But I've started to make a little money now. VCA closed my account and will not allow me to bring my animals in, even though I have cash and am willing to pay up front. My cat is dying. I need to put him down. And now, I have to go to a stranger and do it because once you get sideways with VCA you can never come back. Cold hearted B*******s
My first visit here was yesterday evening under the worst possible circumstances. We had initially brought my dog to another vet because he had been acting unusual and seemed to be in pain. The first clinic ran some tests and he had so many different things wrong with him that they could not figure it out.
