RecommendedI've been a nurse for 27 years, the nursing staff at Manatawny are devoted to their residents, the residents are well cared for and the staff have great teamwork. The activities department are exemplary. The housekeeping department keeps the building spotless and smelling clean at all times. Diakon treats their employees like family. We are celebrating 45 days of being COVID free and there is a reason for it!!
Thank you Manatawny Manor for taking the best care of my friend! From Judy at the front desk to everyone saying hello when entering. You treat everyone like family! I feel you the nurses, therapists and staff at Manatawny all took such great care of my friend Joe! He always spoke highly of everyone there. My first phone call to this facility was terrible. I am on the family list! I spoke to a miserable nurse who gave me false information. She slammed the phone down down mid conversation and said “I’m over it”. She refused to give the phone to the nurse I was asking for to begin with. Especially in times like these, I should not have received this treatment checking in on my loved one. I called the nurse supervisor, which was pointless. I really hope this is not a reflection of the care you give to your clients!
Everything about this place I do not recommend.
I recently returned to work at Manatawny Manor after 8 years of living in 2 other states. I started as a GN in 1995 and worked many different positions in the 15 years I was there. I would never have left if my husband hadn’t changed jobs. Many staff members I worked with are still there. I cannot begin to describe the teamwork and “family “ feel of this facility. I have worked here for a few years and love the atmosphere. Nursing is not an easy occupation but our team always pulls together and gets through even the worst days. I personally have recommended Manatawny to family and friends of mine. All of them have chose to spend their rehabilitation stay with us and did not regret it.
