I went in for a routine cleaning that was supposed to be fully covered by my insurance. Halfway through the procedure, I was suddenly told that I needed a “deeper cleaning,” which weeks later I found out meant my insurance would only cover 80%. I was not informed about this change before they proceeded, which feels incredibly unfair.
