Best musubis and onigiris on the island! Make sure to go early to get the good ones, they run out fast by 9:30am

Mana Musubi is a hidden gem, mostly known by locals rather than tourists. I wouldn't have discovered it if I hadn't walked my dog in the morning and noticed people waiting in line for their onigiri. Having worked at a Japanese onigiri shop in New York, I understand the importance of the ingredients and the effort put into making each musubi. I can taste the quality of the Japanese ingredients, along with the local ones, which makes this the best onigiri I've had in Hawaii! The onigiri here are very yummy. I love it for the texture of their rice with light flavors. The downside is that they sell out fast. I hope they slowly choose to make a little more of the more popular flavors since they knowingly always sell out. Parking can be a challenge depending on the time you go and it's a small parking lot that's can be hard to turn around in when there isn't any parking. There is meter parking on the st., but again, if it's busy then that can be taken as well.
