RecommendedI used Man with a Van for the second time yesterday and was again very impressed. I was moving about 15 boxes and a large, heavy antique printing press. The truck and workers called ahead 30 mins to let me know they were enroute. They arrived on time and we polite and helpful. The distance was a short one, but as we know in NYC traffic can be a beast. They took all precautions to make sure my items, especially the press were cared for. A friend of mine had Man With A Van booked for a move from Brooklyn to Manhattan today which I'm helping her with. She sent a detailed email explaining her items she had to move. The movers who were late did not bring a truck big enough for her items. They also complained about the fact that she has a cat despite the fact that she is transporting her cat herself and nowhere in the sign up procedure does the website ask to specify if the customer has pets. Ruined my piece of furniture I had transported from Fort Greene to Williamsburg. Now it's garbage. When I sent an email, there was absolutely no response. Will never use them again and I suggest you don't either. I only give 2 stars bc at least they were prompt on timing.
