Now that I'm living in another state and have a new primary care physician, I can appreciate the time Dr. Choksi spent with me. My new situation is a rushed 10 minutes if I'm lucky and half the time I don't get a chance to gather my thoughts. Dr.Tara Choksi is my PCP for many years.I am lucky to have such an incredible doctor who has been taking care of my health all the time.He is humble,friendly,understanding and very knowledgeable.His clinical staff is also very friendly and helpful. Dr. Choksi has been my physician for many years. Dr. Choksi is down to earth and cares about his patients. He does not hurry through appointments and always asks if there are any concerns that he can help with.
Dr. Choksi is good about explaining his treatment decisions, but seems to have the expectation that one will simply accept his explanation rather than have a meaningful discussion. It's not that he cuts the discussion off, but he is rather rigid and does not seem to understand when patient views are different than his. They are just wrong.
