Warning: Scam Alert! I was the victim of a Zelle scam perpetrated by Mame Sow, the operator of Mame African Hair Braiding. To reserve an appointment, Mame requires a deposit, which I have provided once in the past. Recently, Mame requested a $50 Zelle deposit to schedule an appointment, which I sent in good faith. The person Mame had me forward the deposit to is Fanny Noumedon. Hello everyone this is Mame African Hair Braiding, I want to assure all my clients that I am not a scam. Many of you have made the $50 deposit to confirm your appointment, and I appreciate your trust. Recently, a client Michael D posted a scam alert as review on my page. That review is not accurate. My hair looked great the first time but then they did the switch on me the second time I came in and it got a bit crazy with the prices. You ask for a price for a hair style and your being told 3 different prices by the time your done but the hair style I got was a short cut version . But it still looked ok. Also every time I make an appt now it ended up being forgotten and then I'm sitting there waiting for an nearly an hour. This has happened 3 times now.

Very nice ladies. I had no issues making my appointment even at the last minute and they did an amazing job. I am from out of town, but I would definitely come back to this shop.
