It was our first time here the food was good but for us the service s**ked . We won't be back !
My husband and I went by today and the service and wait was bad. Normally it's a good place to eat but not today. Not only we had to wait for 35-40min to get our pizza, but when the waiter finally brought the pizza, it was cold and hardly any cheese! They didn't apologize for the inconvenience or nothing! They needed better customer service! My husband and I just left and little did we know they charged us for something we never got! I loved Mama's! It's so hard to find good eggplant parmigiano and this one was to die for! The staff was very hospitable and very accommodating to our large party of 11. If you're in McAllen and craving Italian, this is the place to go!
Food is good; place is nice; service is horrible. I have been there 4 times, and the last 2 I had to walk out because I was never attended to. Very disappointing because I do like the food, but I will probably never go back.
Deep dish pizz was ok, pizza sauce was a little bland they forgot to put pepperoni in our bread sticks the pasta sauce is amazing though.my wife and i ate in the patio and took like 20min for someone just to serve us drinks and food took anther 30min the waitress was nice but i expected for her to bring us the food but instead it was some other random servers, didnt really like that. For the price i rather go somewhere else.

Been wanting to check it out for a while, especially knowing they have a dog-friendly patio area. One of the pups and i had a lovely lunch and the staff were wonderful to both of us.....and did i mention how INCREDIBLE their fish tacos are?!?
