I don't visit this Maman often, but when I do it always delivers. The coffee is great. The staff is kind. I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and have always been able to find seating. It's quiet and nobody rushes me to leave.
Maman Café in NYC is honestly one of my favorite spots in the city. The atmosphere is so warm and cozy—it feels like stepping into a little Parisian café. Breakfast wrap didn’t have any eggs, just mayo (too much), picked onion and the avocado I paid extra for lol. The extra side of chipotle mayo was a nice touch. All for $20 (depressing). Place has clearly phoned it in on whatever good graces they initially built. Just get the pastries and coffee.
I love this place. Coffee is great. Selection of the pastry goods is excellent. BUT the service is very very slow and amateurish. Sorry maman. Has visited several times now. Not just one single experience…
