Maman, I've enjoyed your pastries and service at various locations. But I'm puzzled as to why you're charging a $1 for a box of 13 cookies?! The staff though friendly was literally putting the cookies into single serving bags, I asked for a box and get charged an additional $1, if I'm paying over $58 for pastries I think the box should probably be calculated into the overall cost of the purchase.
Maybe it’s just me, but I wanted to give this place a second chance, as I didn’t have a great experience the first time (same reason). The food was decent, but I still felt disconnected by the atmosphere and service. No warm greeting or real acknowledgment and my to-go order was simply sitting there…I had to ask if it was mine and pack it myself. services are really depends. An Asian lady was there, she was extremely in a bad mood not even welcoming vibes. Therefore, we stepped out and went to other coffee shops around corners ( there’re so many in the neighborhood) and extremely satisfied :) Also, sometimes it’s over packed and can’t make any conversations super loud inside. some workers put their favorite music to listen so another day had impossible to talk to friends.
