A friend of mine brought in a lovely group of people today who happen to be unhoused and was kicked out by the cashier because of it. Everyone she was with was clean, dressed appropriately, and polite but because they had suitcases with them they were profiled as homeless and kicked out. I am utterly appalled by my recent experience at Mama Mia's. I have long held this establishment in high regard for its food and atmosphere, but what transpired during my visit has left me not only disappointed but deeply disturbed.
