Quick service, great food, and just a nice atmosphere. The food couldn't be more southern. I would like to highlight the coleslaw too. Light and not swimming in sauce. Mmmm
We were iffy at first because of the ambiance but when we tasted the food and knew about its rich history, the experience at this restaurant became a meaningful one. The staff were so kind and are actually descendants of Mama Dip’s. They even gave us complimentary cake to celebrate Mama Dip’s birthday. Grateful for the experience!

So sad to see they are having staffing issues. Chapel Hill location is only doing Saturday Pop-Up service.
