I’ve have frequented Mama Bravas in the past and His food was fabulous. Since he cut his hours and his staff, everything has gone downhill since the atmosphere is dull, dark and gloomy, the service is iffy at much, and the food has gone downhill severely. I ordered two pizzas and the crust was stale. I ordered a calzone and it was not cooked all the way I ordered chicken wings, which were in edible. I am from upstate NY. A lot of mom and pop Italian food. This place is the best I have found since I moved to SC in 1981. I visit every time I come to shallotte to see my sister. Normally get pizza but tonight I got the chicken parm and it was excellent! Great family Great food!
