~~~~ Online pickup order ~~~~ As a newcomer to the area, this was my first time dining at Mama Bird's Restaurant. Regrettably, based on my experience, I will not be returning. I ordered the shrimp Po' boy sandwich, but the quality was highly disappointing. The shrimp was significantly overcooked, resulting in a rubbery texture, and had not been properly deveined. Emily took great care of me, she could work anywhere an the strip excellent service!! The food was wonderful deviled eggs and collard greens incredible. I will be back!!!
Was craving for briskets in the afternoon between lunch and dinner, so this diner by the house opens from 8am and doesn't close in between lunch and dinner is perfect. The ribs and briskets are mediocre like any other popular spots, but their BBQ sauce, jalape�o cornbread, and fries are good. Really need to shout out to their Mac & cheese which is superb!!! The fried green beans are good, too. Very nice interior design with the booth seating and plants. Very spacious inside.
Wow. This place was not disappointing at all. At first I thought it was a bit expensive and I wasn’t sure of the portion sizes, but when I got my food, the price was justified immediately. And the food itself was very good, and the portions are very generous. Everything is good quality. I recommend!
Got the shrimp and grits, wings, brisket and d greens. Everything was delicious!!! Service was good, definitely will visit again!
