The worst landlord I've ever had stay far away! Pushed our move in date a week back the DAY OF move in, when we were able to move in we weren't able to put anything on the floors (including beds and couches), once they were done redoing the floors they left the house a complete mess (trash everywhere, door knobs missing, pubes in the bathroom to name a few). When we asked to get it professionally cleaned he said "you should talk to your parents first who have more experience with this stuff, you guys need to be more helpful ... read more

Bad experience at his building on Arlington Place. Run down hallway area, cluttered and filthy laundry area. A/C unit dripped water into living area, destroying ceiling tile. Roof leak. Insects. Hail leaking through chimney. Interior brick deteriorating, dusting all over living area. Landlord half attempted to fix these problems, but he failed. I had to move out early. Only saving grace is that landlord was moderately cooperative in moving early.

I’m a prospective tenant who met Jim earlier this week. Out of all the property owners I’ve met so far in my search, Jim has by far been the best. I was impressed by how well-maintained the apartment I looked at was and his diligence in installing new windows and floors - and he has a maintenance guy that seems to be full-time. I’ve ready so many horror stories online about property management companies that aren’t responsive, even to emergency needs.
