I had always taken my tundra to the dealership for service because it's still under warranty. On a recent visit for service I was told that the water pump was showing signs of leaking. My truck only had 36,000 miles and a pump should last anywhere between 60,000 and 90,000 miles. So I took it to another mechanic that I trust. My restored wreck was sent by Malloy Collision center to Malloy Toyota service for full systems checks, alignment, glass replacement, setup and calibration of radar system. I wrote and spoke to the service manager conveying to him the endless failures from the collision shop. Would he please give my car extra scrutiny, please, during the full systems check while my car was at the Toyota shop. We (trade in) purchased a vehicle that needed to be serviced before we could actually bring it home. Toyota "replaced" ball joints on the vehicle. Said vehicle within 12 months of this service/ purchase fails inspection for ball joints. The tires on the truck FELL OFF when lifted for inspection. Took RAV 4 in for inspection and to see what was recommended for 100,000 mile checkup as maintenance required light was on. I gave OK to perform spark plug replacement, coolant flush and service, transmission fluid exchange service and fuel induction service . I was never told how much each extra fee was like for maintenance on my vehicle. I told the financial person that i wanted the $750 deducted from amount i owe for the vehicle. He told me it was canceled but it stills shows on my amount i owe for vehicle. I just want it taken off and was told it was taken care of. I cant get anyone to call me back and give me an answer. I think this is wrong.
